Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh and Datok Seri Jean Todt had another wedding reception, this time at Emerald Bay, Pangkor island. Unlike the event in Ipoh’s Little Katong this was a smaller party but it was cozy and very romantic.

A guest who attended the event remarked that the beautiful and idyllic island setting was probably what Jean and Michelle wanted.

The event was held on the 21 December with a luncheon consisting of hawker fare similar to what was served during the family reunion and a sit-down dinner in the evening.

Michelle wore two dresses for the day designed by Ms. Shiatzy Chen a long time Taiwanese designer friend.

For the luncheon it was an off-shoulder gown hand-embroidered with motifs of orchids and butterflies and created in Michelles favourite shade of green. It seemed to match the rich natural jungle green foliage surroundings.

At night she wore a lovely peach lace gown over a lace shorts. What a totally chic evening outfit.

The dinner attire was casual there wasn’t a suit and tie in sight and au naturel without air conditioning.

As the couple walked in, led by two lantern bearers to the “Blue Hawaii” song ‘Can't Help Falling in Love’…(wasn’t this also played in the movie Crazy Rich Asians) there was gasp of ‘wow’. This was a good tune for a wedding march.

As the couple were about to cut their wedding cake they requested that Tan Sri Francis Yeoh join them.
