With two
days to go when 1 Jalan Lasam will come alive with a ‘wonderful celebration’ for Michelle Yeoh and Jean Todt guests began to arrive. Today saw the visit of Tom and Julia Latham with Lam
Swee conducting the tour in Ignatius’ absence.
A little
later the saw the arrival of Yeoh Saw Choo and Yeoh Saw Han and their family
members.
With head
curator Ignatius Chew giving the tour it was a constant dialogue with the senior Yeoh's while the
younger members took photos.
Ignatius
then took them to the first Chew museum where Chew Choon Siew used to live. KimTan, Yeoh Saw Han’s daughter had visited in 2019, and Ignatius thought it would
be a novel gesture to visit.
