YLCO Museum got a visit from 26 members of the ‘Joy Club of the Elim Gospel Hall’ making them the first visitors of the year. They were encouraged to visit by Yeoh Poh See herself a member of YLCO and Elim Gospel Hall.
Poh See and members of her family were staunch followers of Elim Gospel Hall since the 1950’s. Starting with her grandmother Goh Lean Kee, aunties and the nieces were members of Elim Gospel Hall in Ipoh and if they lived in Penang members of brethren church Burma Road Gospel Hall.
In December 2025 she requested the curator of YLCO Ignatius Chew if her members could visit the musem. Ignatius suggested her to visit in the new year and make it an event. On 17 January 2026 the guests showed up and was greeted by Ignatius Chew and his team of assistants Pauline Chew, Agnes Chew, Yeoh Lam Swee and Yeoh Poh See.

Before proceeding to the museum Ignatius briefed the guests on what the building 1 Jalam Lasam was about. It housed business address of Bonanza Venture Holdings and the organizations as Ipoh Echo, Perak Academy, Ipoh World and the YLCO Museum all under one roof.
