Ong Su Meng
visited YLCO three times in the last 2 months ie November and December bringing
her sisters. On this occasion she brought her niece Lee Pek Yen (her mother Lee
Li-Meng came earlier in the month) and friends Khong LeiLan ( Khong Kok Yat’s sister)
and Foong Thim Leng (he was a former Star Publications employee) and his wife.
Ignatius was
outstation and requested Yeoh Poh Swee (she was the niece of Yeoh Cheang Lee), Yeoh
Lam Swee and myself to show the guests around. Ignatius had put all the related
displays for the guests beforehand. Su Meng had visited earlier and was familiar
with the displays and assisted to explain the firm of ‘Cheang Lee & Ong’
(Yeoh Cheang Lee and Ong Hock Thye) and other exhibits.
