Yeoh Saw Cheng And Family’s Visit ....... Day 2

Yeoh Saw Cheng's 2nd day was very relaxing ....

 Day 2. The 2nd day of the visit was more relaxing. After picking Saw Cheng and Shu Yen from the hotel they were willing to try Ipoh Kai See Hor Fun at Thean Chun Kopitiam the iconic old town heritage establishment. Although they had breakfast at the hotel the wanted to try some authentic Ipoh fare. They weren’t disappointed.

After the hor-fun I took them for walkabout to the  charms of Old Town and introduced them to Mark Koo (the late Christine Yeoh Choo Hoon hubby) at his KooKee Time Tunnel heritage shop.

After the old town walkabout it was back to 1 Jalan Lasam. Today Cheng met Chan See Foon whom she knew from her schooling days in Singapore .......

.and then after back to the museum for more of reminiscing of the old family.

Lunch was back to Old Town’s popular Kopitiam of Kong Heng next to Thean Chun to savour all the other delicacies on offer like chee cheong fun, popiah  and sotong etc.

While the ladies enjoyed their meal Ignatius got Kai to introduce Old Town landmarks which included KooKee Time Tunnel..uncle Marc Koo’s heritage shop.

..then join the rest for local fare ......

Finally we dropped them to the airport and had an opportunity to talk to Cheng’s hubby .. Lee Boon Teck because of a flight delay.

Cheng and family's 2 day visit was very friendly and warm and it was a pleasure having them here.
