He said his grandchildren
had no idea of his heritage and in turn theirs too. An exposure to the YLCO
museum would provide a glimpse of my life.
The grand
kids Yeoh Ee Shuen and Yeoh Yi Jae and their mother Yap Chin Ping came with
their aunts Yeoh Chee Pui and Yeoh Chee Peng.

A call to
Lam Wah later in the week revealed that the family “was very happy seeing the
museum”.
It had
opened their eyes to what it is like to be a Yeoh. It is not boastful but just
be proud of your heritage.
One of the
goals was I wanted them to realize that they have a lot of relative all over
the place, to know their uncles who were professional and had multiple wives
and know the heritage of our Yeoh family.

The YLCO
museum certainly fulfilled that goal.
