Yeoh Bee Kim Celebrates Hubby John's Bailey's Birthday Together With The Family

Ignatius and Pauline Chew were invited to dinner with the family of Yeoh Chin Hin. It was John Bailey’s birthday, the husband of Yeoh Bee Kim. Only family members and close friends were present.

Ignatius mentioned that the Singapore Yeoh’s, descendants of Yeoh Khuan Joo had a  gathering that afternoon and it was well attended by the family. That piqued their attention.

When Agnes showed them a photo of the Singapore Yeoh's gathering someone suggested we send photos of our gathering too. Immediately the atmosphere changed and everyone was agreeable to posing for photographs. 

 

The evening took on a pleasant turn when Yeoh Eng Khoon explained about the connection Yeoh Khuan Joo and Yeoh Hong Seng.

“Yeoh Khuan Joo brought his nephew Yeoh Hong Seng to Malaya. When Hong Seng first arrived he worked for Yeoh Khuan Joo. At a later date Yeoh Hong Seng bought over Yeoh Khuan Joo’s textile shop called Ban Guan Hin”.

It got interesting when his Eng Khoon’s son Yeoh Kheng Wei took out his computer to make a graphic diagram showing the family tree of Yeoh Hong Seng.

At the end of the night the group asked Ignatius to visit YLCO museum to which he answered positively.
