Recently Ignatius
Chew had a request from Taylor's University, International Family Enterprise
Centre (IFEC) in July to do a recci of YLCO museum with the possibility of
collaboration later in the year.
IFEC,
according to its website states that it “is devoted to empowering the community
of business families…”. As such Yeoh, Lim, Chew and Oh museum fitted their
agenda.
The visitors
from Taylor IFEC was Dr Feranita, Shan Loy and Justin Yap. Joining them for the visit that
morning was Dr Carrine Teoh, NTU Alumni Association and Jennie Gong and Lim Chin Beng.

| ..begins before the tour |
Ignatius, the curator, gave the visitors the grand tour and explained the interlink of the families since 100
years. He related his rich family history with as much information about family ties through the generations.
Shan Loy the Manager with IFEC described the tour as “very insightful. It was very beneficial but would assist the visitor if there was a rough flow or catergorization while sharing this very extensive family history".

Overall the tour
was conducted in a very relaxed atmosphere. with all taking multiple photos with the
heritage families and especially their family’s international actress Tan Sri
Michelle Yeoh .
