Laughter And Memories On The 4th Day Of The Wood Dragon@YLCO Museum
Families get together on the 4th day of the Wood Dragon
all laughter and joy ....
It was all
laughter and joy as members of the Chews and Yeohs, came home for the annual family reunion. The visiting families are descendants of Yeoh Cheang Peng and Chew Gaik Ee
and Chew Choon Siew. A number of these 4th and 5th descendants currently reside in Melbourne.
It was the
13th of February and the 4th day of Chinese New Year when
they congregated at YLCO museum.
Aunt Florence expaining the exhibits to her nephews
..an international actress in the family
Several of the
family member.s had been to the earlier Chew museum but it was a first for many
of them visiting the YLCO Museum.
The enlarged
YLCO museum had much more on display and which made it graphically easier to visualise the connection between YLCO families.
Poh See sharing her knowledge of the family history
...'we were in these earlier photos'...
Linda Oh explaining the Oh connection .....
Seng Hock explaining how we are related to Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh .....
The display
of actress and Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh gave it an international aura
to the famioy museum. Another interesting addition was the circular Family Tree. It never failed to attract interest especially if your name was included therein.
...everyone enjoyed the family tree .....
.. the families had a good time ....
This was an awesome Chew family get together and it happened on the 4th day of the New Year.
