Sophia Lo (the youngest daughter of Chew Gaik Swee) arrived into Malaysia with her daughter Caitlin and sil Philip Rogers. They arrived from Bali on 10 May. She brought her mothers ashes along with them. Sohpia had planned to spend time in Ipoh and Penang to meet the other members of the family before returning home.
She was met in Kuala Lumpur by Lynette Harun the grand daughter of Chew Gaik Poh and Goh Kim Sai. Lynette shared a meal with the guests before they proceeded to Ipoh.

They had dinner with cousins Ignatius Chew and Pauline
and Agnes. There was a lot of discussion between Ignatius and Sophia and Agnes
over 4 Gurney Drive, Swee Lo's boutique and the old days.
It was also Philips birthday and a cake was presented to him. The guests had been up since 4am from Bali and looked visibly tired and retired for the day preparation for a busy next day.
