YLCO Museum To Be Featured In Harry Seggu's Upcoming ' Ipoh: City of Millionaires" series

Ignatius Chew with Harry Seggu during a scene at YLCO Museum .......

The YLCO Museum got a visit from Harry Seggu the lawyer, educator and lately a videographer documenting the heritage stories of Ipoh in his series “Ipoh: City of Millionaires – From Nothing to Legacy.’ It is about immigrants and dreamers who started with nothing and built empires. This series isn’t just history, it’s about cultivating that same millionaire mindset today—grit, hustle, and purpose. Harry delved into the stories of yesteryear, its colonial buldings, villages in Ipoh eg Buntong and included Jubilee Cabaret the entertainment place that made up Ipoh then.

Harry's next episode is focused on some of the progressive families ie the Yeoh, Lim, Chew and Oh families that began in the Kinta Valley. Incindentally these families had the their history all housed in their own museum with their own curator ie a family member named Ignatius Chew. Their story goes back 100 years and covers their illustrious descendants through the ages cultivating that millionaire mindset to become businessmen, doctors, politicians and actresses.

Will Harry cover it all. I’m sure we will get a glimpse of many an interesting story soon so stay tuned.
